Product: Neem and Aloe with Cleaning Lemon Peel Anti Dandruff Shampoo
First of all, I would like thank you for dropping by and hope you like my review. As mentioned on the title, here’s my honest review on the Soultree Neem and Aloe Anti Dandruff Shampoo. This is my first purchase from Soultree and I must admit the packaging was spot on and delivery was on time. The product claims to be the best choice for dandruff distressed hair and is an anti-microbial cleanser, hair protector and moisturizer built into one. Absolutely true, the shampoo was dark brown gel like consistency and it had the perfect moisturizer feel. I took two pumps of it and massaged it well on wet hair, it didn’t lather like the typical SLS shampoos but that’s not what you can expect out of natural ingredient shampoos – I didn’t want this to be typical shampoo that rips all the natural oils that we have and end up using tons of leave in conditioners to control the frizziness.
The product is made with fresh ayurvedic extracts of neem, methika which is fenugreek, amla and reetha, it products and strengthens and nourished your hair. The astringent action of lemon peel oil combines with the intense moisture of organic aloe to heal irritated scalp and prevent dandruff.
Core ingredients - Aqua, Decyl glucoside, Lauryl glucoside, Cprylyl capryl glucoside, Sodium coocyl glutamate, Coco glucoside & Glyceryl oleate, Trigonella fornum graecum, Glycerine, Azadiracta Inddica, Sapindus mujarossi, Emblica officinalis, Aloe barbadenis juice, Sodium levulinate & Potassium sorbate, Citrus limonum, Zinc PCA, Xanthum gum, Citric Acid, Azadirachta indica oil, Parfum, Phytic Acid, Limonene, Citral.
My experience – I let the shampoo soak for 10 mins, the hair left soft and well moisturized which felt like you added egg white paste. Post soaking, I washed with cold water and the dirt, oil was all gone and it didn’t take that long to rinse all the shampoo off. I didn’t use any conditioner to test how soft the hair looked and plus wanted to know how long my hair was fresh and oil free. The hair took some time to dry naturally, guess that because of the aloe vera gel and it had beautiful natural curls at the end which I personally liked it!
It’s been a week and I think on the fourth day - I felt l need a good wash but otherwise the hair looked and felt healthy and it had the natural shine and bouncy feel which I totally loved. The downside of the shampoo was it faded my streak to large extent which should be noted! Not for colored hair.
I will continue to use until summer, I desperately need some natural shampoo to treat to the sweaty hair! I strongly recommend this shampoo for someone who’s looking for light, moisturizing shampoo that is totally safe for daily use.
My rating – 4.7 stars (.3 for ripping my streaks!)
